JSTTalk was born from a simple observation: finding genuine people to talk to online has become harder than it should be. Many platforms either expect you to create an account, build a profile, and join communities, or they throw you into endless random chats where meaningful conversations rarely last.
While exploring existing anonymous chat platforms, we noticed the same recurring problems. Most relied entirely on random matching, offered little to no information about the person on the other side, made it difficult to find someone you genuinely connected with, and often suffered from unreliable performance or poor user experiences.
We believed there had to be a better approach.
That’s where JSTTalk comes in.
The name JSTTalk is inspired by the phrase “Just Talk.” Our vision is simple: remove unnecessary barriers and help people start real conversations. Instead of endlessly skipping strangers, JSTTalk lets you discover people through lightweight profiles, shared interests, languages, and other preferences, making it easier to find someone who matches your vibe before the conversation even begins.
We’re not trying to replace traditional messaging apps or social networks. Instead, we’re building a platform where meeting someone new is simple, conversations feel natural, and meaningful connections happen without the pressure of maintaining a permanent online identity.

Why We Built JSTTalk
The Problem
The idea for JSTTalk didn’t come from trying to build “another chat website.” It came from spending time on existing platforms and repeatedly running into the same frustrating experience.
Conversations Rarely Go Beyond “Hello”
Most anonymous chat platforms rely entirely on one-to-one random matching. While the idea sounds exciting, the reality is often disappointing. Conversations usually end after a simple introduction—“Hi”, “Where are you from?”, “How old are you?”—before one person immediately skips to the next match.
Instead of creating meaningful conversations, the experience becomes an endless cycle of introductions.
You’re Judged Before You Can Be Yourself
Many users decide whether to continue a conversation based solely on a few basic details like gender, age, or country. You rarely get the opportunity to share your personality, interests, or sense of humor before the conversation ends.
We believe people deserve the chance to connect over shared interests rather than first impressions alone.

While some anonymous chat platforms remove the sign-up process, they often introduce different problems such as poor performance, intrusive advertisements, fake users, bots, or unreliable connections.
These issues make it difficult to enjoy what should be a simple experience: talking to another human being.
For us, these weren’t isolated problems—they were recurring patterns. That’s when we realized there was an opportunity to rethink how online social discovery could work.
Our Vision
We don’t want JSTTalk to be just another chat website.
Our vision is to create a place that feels like walking into a cozy café where everyone is open to talking. A place where starting a conversation feels natural, not awkward, and where meeting someone new doesn’t require building a profile, collecting followers, or joining communities.
We believe that some of the most interesting people are often the quietest. Many introverts have incredible stories, unique perspectives, and amazing personalities, but expressing themselves in person isn’t always easy. JSTTalk is designed to give those conversations a place to happen naturally, where people are appreciated for who they are rather than how outgoing they appear.
We want every conversation to feel worthwhile. Instead of leaving after endless introductions and random skips, we hope people leave thinking:

Our goal is simple: from landing on the website to starting a conversation should take only a few seconds.
The faster we remove unnecessary barriers, the faster people can do what they came here to do—meet someone new.

Privacy isn’t just a feature—it’s one of the principles JSTTalk is built on.
We believe people should have complete control over what they choose to share. Starting a conversation shouldn’t require handing over unnecessary personal information or building another social media profile.
If you’re using JSTTalk as a guest, we won’t ask for your real name, phone number, or other unnecessary personal details. You can create a lightweight identity and start talking within seconds.
For users who choose to create an account in the future, we’ll keep the process simple. The goal isn’t to collect as much information as possible—it’s to make returning to JSTTalk easier. Additional profile information, such as profile photos, will always remain optional.
When a guest leaves the platform, their session ends without leaving behind a permanent social identity. Our philosophy is simple:
You control what you share.
Safety Features
Creating meaningful conversations also means creating a respectful environment.
JSTTalk provides tools that allow users to block people they no longer wish to interact with and report users who violate our community guidelines. Every report helps us improve the experience for everyone.
As the platform grows, we’re also planning community-driven moderation features, including a vote-based kick system to help identify and remove users who repeatedly disrupt conversations.
Our goal isn’t simply to moderate the platform—it’s to build a community where people feel comfortable starting conversations with strangers.
